For the laps of veteran ace director Mani Rathnam, here comes a new filmmaker who is sure to prove of his versatility. Perhaps, ‘Jayam Kondan’, the title conveys the symbolic meaning that victory is in sight for all the team members who are waiting for a great success. Indeed, debutant director Kannan has received good credits from the producers for delivering the flick with decent effort.

Unnale Unnale fame Vinay, this tall charming Bangalore guy has more expectations raised within himself. Of course, this guy is sure to be titled as chocolate chap of Kollywood (may be replacing the present one). Bhavana who hasn’t been doing well with all her films in Kollywood has something sure about picking up success.

When Lekha Washington made her presence in the photo promos of Kettavan with Simbhu, everyone had a great doubt whether she can emote well to the situations on the screen. But, bits and pieces of her part in trailer has disapproved their beliefs and seems like she has done her best.

Audio for the film was launched recently at Sathyam Cinemas by Padmashri Kamal Haasan, Director Mani Rathnam, Sarath Kumar and many others. All the songs have been well churned by Vidhyasagar and each one carries off with different theme and genre. In fact, the remix of ‘Ullasa Uzhagam’ is a good part of work from the music director.

Speaking on the occasion of audio launch, producers of the movie appreciated Kannan saying that he had presented with his best spell on the first copy itself. They continued adding that it was a complete astonishment to see that unedited version of the film was really appreciable. Kannan has made the film with cost effective factors and that makes everyone sing his praises.

The film is about a young guy in Chennai who comes to a town for selling his house of ancestral property. Over there three lives are weaved together bringing new relationships, but not do their peaceful situations continue for a long time. The young man at a point accidentally tightens his fist for a hit on big shot and that starts off the problematic situations. So how these perplexing situations do is sorted out forms crux of the story.

The film is expected to hit the screens by next month, somewhere in the middle…
