Unexpected twists and turns – Is it what you expect from each film? But the same elements seem to be witnessed in Chennai box office as well. Of course, when the most expected biggies in Tamil, English and Hindi had failed the buffs with poor show, everyone felt anxious over the release of ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ and ‘Wanted’ that had hit the screens on September 18.
Splendidly, both the films are found to be doing good business in box office.
‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ may not be a big budgeted flick as Kamal Haasan himself produced with his daughter scoring music. But, the shows are running house-packed in all the three states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Hyderabad.
On the pars, Salman Khan who had a terrifying career graph in the past with three consecutive flop shows – ‘God –Tussi The Great’, ‘Hello’ and ‘Yuvvraaj’ has find the jackpot with ‘Wanted’. The film is a remake of Puri Jaganath’s ‘Pokkiri’ that was later remade in Tamil with the same title.
It’s worth mentioning that Salman Khan hadn’t watched Vijay’s Pokkiri, but the original version in Telugu with Mahesh Babu in lead role.
The shows of ‘Wanted’ are still brimmed with houseful shows.
