Taapsee lands her second film in Bollywood

After Chashme Buddoor, now the buzz is that Taapsee is onto her second Bollywood film in Vicky Donor director Shoojit Sircar’s venture, which will be directed by popular cinematographer Amit Roy. A source in the know tells us that the film will have a young cast and that filming is likely to begin in a couple of months.
While the Aadukalam girl agrees that she’s in talks for the film, she refuses to divulge details. “The script is very gripping and the team is a talented one. But I can’t confirm anything until things get formally done,” she says.
She adds, “In Bollywood, I wanted to sign on films in which my character would be integral to the script. After my debut, I thought it would take some time before I was offered a meaty role; but I’m happy it happened sooner than I anticipated.”
Meanwhile, the actress is kicked about two of her Tamil films — Arrambam and Muni 3: Ganga. “In Vishnuvardhan’s film, my character will keep the audience in splits. And in Lawrence’s film, I play a director. Interestingly, while other characters in the film tickle some funny bone, mine is the only character that remains serious throughout the film. This is a challenging roles and should be a landmark one of my career,” she says.
