Santhosh Sivan all set to direct Prithviraj again

Ace cinematographer-director Santhosh Sivan has been busy with his bilingual, Ceylon, which tells the story of a few boys set against the Sri Lankan war. The much anticipated movie was in the news for its central theme on Sri Lanka. Now, amidst his busy schedule, the director has announced his next project, this time in Malayalam.
Santhosh is all set to direct Prithviraj, once again, in his next film, which will start rolling in December. Interestingly, this will see the actor-director duo teaming up in Mollywood after their last outing, Urumi, which was a period film and had an ensemble cast including Genelia D’Souza, Vidya Balan, Prabhu Dheva, Arya and Tabu.
“We are still working on the details, but this will have a contemporary subject. Other than Prithviraj, we haven’t finalised on any other artists,” says Santhosh, “I haven’t had time to think about this project now, as I have my hands full with Inam, which is the Tamil version of Ceylon. As soon as I am done with it, I will start on the film.”
Meanwhile, Prithviraj is busy with Vasanthabalan’s Tamil film, Kaaviya Thalaivan.
