Ommakkuchi Narasimhan breathed his last

One of the best Comedy actors in Tamil Film Industry Ommakkuchi Narasimhan (71) passed away at 9.30 last night, after his private fight with throat cancer for more than a year. Narasimhan started his career working as a LIC Agent, but later with his insatiable passion for acting, took up theatre plays where Director Shankar was a member too. Indeed, Narasimhan was the one who encouraged Shankar’s foray into film industry (the actor has played prominent roles in Shankar’s ‘Indian’ and ‘Mudhalvan’). With a spellbinding humorous appeal, he has been a successful actor with more than 100 plays.

He has been a part of various films in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada that won him grand appreciations. With his life bounded to the World of Cinema for more than 30 years, he delivered his best show in every film.

He is now survived by his wife Saraswathi, three married daughters and a son. His funeral rites would be held on Saturday.

Kollywood Today expresses heartily condolences to his entire family members and relatives who are drenched sorrowfully.
