Manivannan’s care for the environment
Veteran filmmaker Manivannan is busy wielding the megaphone for Nagaraja Chozhan MA MLA (a sequel to his yesteryear hit Amaithipadi).
Manivannan and Sathyaraj joined hands together for a political satire in Amaithipadi, a few years ago. The two come together again now for Nagaraja Chozhan MA MLA.
Produced by V House, the movie is being shot in Coimbatore, dense jungles and unexplored locations in Kerala. Besides Sathyaraj, the movie stars Seeman, Raghu Manivannan, Vaiyapuri, Varsha, Mrudhula, Komal Sharma besides Manivannan in prominent roles.
At Doni Forests in Kerala, the crew filed a major portion of the movie. Manivannan, who is known for championing the cause of a clean and green environment, ensured that no one litters in the forest. With a mission to preserve nature, he set up cardboard bins at the shooting spot and ensured the place was clean and there was no waste thrown in the forest.
Impressed watching the act of Manivannan, the forest officials were mightily happy. They invited him and the crew for a dinner.
Now Manivannan wants his colleagues to emulate such a thing wherever they shot. After all,is it not our duty to keep our environment clean?
