Sherin, who burst into the Kollywood scene with films like Thullavatho Ilamai and Whistle, is now busy in Tollywood. She’s currently shooting for Hyderabad Love Story, which is a triangular romance that will be shot in Hyderabad, Pune and Thailand.
“I’m looking forward to this movie,” says the actress, “For me, doing films is a passion and this movie is a chic flick that’s loads of fun.”
She is also considering a couple of offers from Mollywood at the moment. “They’re both great subjects. I’m actually lobbying for them.”
So, when can we expect to see her in a Tamil film? “Well, as soon as a good subject comes along. I really miss Kollywood; I feel so much at home here. When Thullavatho Ilamai plays on TV, I sometimes have trouble recognizing myself. I’m not sure how I became popular in that look. Perhaps it’s because I look the part — as I’m from an Iranian background, I have broad shoulders and look different from other girls. The film captured that,” she signs off.
