Honour for Nayan , Amala and Sherya

Suhasini Maniratnam, Nadia, Revathy, Bhanupriya and Radha, who ruled the cinema industry in the 80s were present on the occasion.

Director K Balachander presented an award to Revathy and recalled his experience of working with her in the film Punnagai Mannan. Director Selvaraghavan awarded Suhasini Maniratnam. Ko fame Karthika said that her mother Radha was not just a diva but an all rounder when it comes to managing her family and business.

Amala Paul did a dance medley in honour of actor Sridevi. Simran received an award from director Vasanth. Nayanthara, Sneha, Shriya Saran, Hansika Motwani, Anjali and Amala Paul were also given awards for their contribution to South Indian cinema. A spectacular performance by Simbu brought the curtain down for the event.
