Ajith Kumar is close on the heels of completing his 50th film ‘Mankatha’ and it will be done by next couple of weeks. By next month, the film most anticipated film ‘Billa-2’ will go on floors. Unlike ‘2007 Billa’, major portions will be shot in India itself. The film will start in Tuticorin shores were David is seen as a young thug, who later manages to become the World’s most wanted mafia. The film was supposed to be directed by Vishnuvardhan, but later walked out of the project as he was occupied with Telugu film ‘The Shadow’ starring Pawan Kalyan in lead role.
Then, filmmaker Chakri Toleti was signed for wielding megaphone for the film and he somehow impressed the producers and Ajith Kumar with his work. The script works are completed and Ajith Kumar has been a part of script and screenplay as well. Mumbai based model Huma Qureshi has been signed for performing female lead role while rest of the star-casts will have Prabhu and Rahman, who were part of ‘Billa 2007’. Yuvan Shankar Raja will score music for the film and Nirav Shah will handle cinematography.
