Anirudh is constantly in the news ever since ‘Why this kolaveri di…’ happened. The latest update about the young musician is that he has composed music for a stage drama.
The play titled Shakthi is directed by Madhuvanthi Arun, who is the daughter of veteran Y Gee Mahendra. With Anirudh composing the music, the drama has art direction by Thotta Tharani.
The drama is inspired by 1967 film Wait Util Dark, a suspense-thriller film directed by Terence Young
and produced by Mel Ferrer.
The film had Audrey Hepburn as a young blind woman, Alan Arkin as a violent criminal searching for some drugs, and
Richard Crenna as another criminal, supported by Jack Weston, Julie Herrod, and Efrem Zimbalist Jr.
