Abhirami Ramanathan, owner of Abhirami Cinemas has come up with a commendable gesture of providing platform for aspiring short filmmakers. If you’ve made the best short films and yet to struggling to showcase them to public, here comes a big gift to you all.
Every weekends on Saturday and Sunday, the theatre will screen short films of various genres made by those filmmakers running out of financial aids to publicize their films.
According to Ramanathan, he says, “Short films have been labeling the talents of a technician as well an actor, who wants to make it big in tinsel town. Accordingly, this measure will offer a great space for them to establish their talents to the public.”
The films will be screened for special morning shows on every Saturday and Sunday.
Hats off to you Ramanathan! You’ve done a great job and pioneered with a fantabulous gesture.
