Aarya’s ‘Madarasa Pattinam’ is a period Film

Aarya’s heart is brimmed with spelling extraordinary works with exceptional experiments. Yeah! Right from his debut, he isn’t just fixed donning the same chocolate-boy kind of roles and started looking for what Vikram and Surya did after 10 years of their entry. Today, with few films in his career, he’s there on top-of-charts. With grand success of ‘Naan Kadavul’, Aarya has already completed shooting for his ‘Sarvam’ directed by Vishnuvardhan. Fine! Right before that film could release, he has geared up for another film ‘Madarasa Pattinam’ directed by Vijay.

The young filmmaker had won laurels with ‘Kireedom’ and ‘Poi Solla Porom’ for a decent directorial. Like his mentor, he attempts for a different genre of periodic film. This is all set at the backdrops of Chennai in 1945 during the British rule. Vijay for a long time has been looking for best places in Bangalore and Kanchipuram, Chennai for erecting the most realistic sets. Nirav Shah, man behind the lens for Dhoom-2, Billa, Pokkiri, and Sarvam cranks the camera while Vijay’s close buddy G.V. Prakash scores music. Vijay is looking for a foreigner to play female lead of the British girl role while rest of the casts include Nasser, VMC Haneefa, Bala Singh and many more…
